The heiress had settled herself at her desk, stylus writing in notebook as eyes flickered from notebook to books required for class ; crimson – haired girl writing summaries of everything she’d need to know. There were high expectancies of her, ones she couldn’t fail and thus, studying was always required. Not that she complained ; studying was . . is important to her, though at times she secretly wished that the burden on her shoulders would be less. [break][break]

Silence was disturbed by three knocks on her door, causing pen to stop in its movement — right on time as she just finished her word. Pushing herself up from her desk, her question of who it possibly could be was answered upon hearing soft whisper from the other side of the door. [break][break]

Opening the door, it indeed revealed Aegis — just like how she had assumed. Regardless, the faintest signs of surprise was visible upon visage, before a soft smile curled upon her lips. ”Aegis. Is there something amiss?” She sidestepped, arm slightly stretching out to the side to invite the blonde inside of her room.

Hearing Yukari’s words about her not quite getting cell structures, especially the differences between plant and animals, made the heiress simply nod. She wasn’t one to judge ; people were unique, and some had it more difficult to understand a specific thing while another could consider it easy, basic knowledge.[break][break]

”Alright”, she simply replied. With biology book in hands, Mitsuru stood up and made her way over towards the brunette, taking a seat next to her. ”I hope you don’t mind. I figured this would be easier to explain things.”[break][break]

With book on her lap, she opened it before going through the numerous pages – only to end up on the chapter that was devoted to cells and its structures. ”Alright. I will firstly explain the animal cells.” She mentioned while navigating through the pages to find a picture of said cell.[break][break]

”It might be best to make two colums on a page in your notebook and to write down core elements of both, it’ll be easier to recognize the difference between the two that way.” With that said, Mitsuru began her explanation about the animal cell. And once that was finished ; she continued on to explanation of the plant cell.

It was easy to tell the other seemed confused by her actions – it was a typical trait the female often displayed when confused or not understanding something. She had seen it many often times prior to this, when Minako seemed puzzled by something. Lips curled ever so lightly into a smile, before pen tapped against her notebook – as if nervous to explain her reasoning why.[break][break]

”Well..” Brown irises averted to the side for a second, before focusing back on the female in front of her. ”Dancing isn’t exactly my forte.” She admitted, before sighing softly. ”So, I’m attempting to understand it better by asking others how they dance and if they have any tips.” [break][break]

”They have”, she confirmed before opening her notebook, on a specific page – multiple tips neatly written down concerning how the others were dancing. ”Akihiko and Takeba-san mentioned trying to find the beat and rhythm helps a lot to dance. And Iori . . he said to just go with the flow and dance however I wanted.” Perhaps Junpei wasn’t exactly the best person to ask advice from. ”Ken told me to try counting, which I have to admit, I do not exactly understand what he meant with that.” Mitsuru explained more to the brunette.[break][break]

”And, well..” Did she want to admit she had secretly practiced in a room to only utterly fail? To feel the embarrassment that she wasn’t capable to understand how dancing worked? A soft sigh escaped rose lips. ”It didn’t go as well as planned when attempting to try.” She admitted in utter defeat. [break][break]

Sighing softly, she now focused back on the female in front of her.”So, do you have any tips for me?”

It had been a couple years after the events of Tartarus and the Dark Hour. Something she never expected to find it recur once again. After all, with her in lead of the Kirijo Group, she’d never allow such a thing to be experimented with once more – not on her watch. Did she think Shadows were gone and disappeared forever? No. It wasn’t that long ago she had discovered something called the Midnight Channel. And who knew how many more of such things existed?[break][break]

However, right now, a new mall opened in a small city, with the Kirijo Group having invested into it. It was no surprise that Mitsuru Kirijo herself, current owner and leader of Kirijo Group, was present at the opening. While she had seen blueprints of the place, as well as was updated on the building process – there was something special actually being in the building itself. Before the doors were opened to the public, Mitsuru, along with other influencing and important people, were guided around for a first peak before anyone else.[break][break]

Crimson lock got tucked behind her ear as she watched to the screens of numerous security cameras, witnessing how the once empty building now slowly filled with a growing crowd. ”Be certain to watch the entrance for now. There is quite a number of visitors, if they start to push to get inside, accidents may happen.” She warned one of the people that sat in front of all screens. It would be terrible if anything were to happen on this opening, and if anything, people getting hurt because of being pushed and trampled in a crowd was most likely.[break][break]

”There’s a kid just standing there . . it seems suspicious. Do you thi---” A security officer informed them through a com thought got cut short by Mitsuru, who leaned closer to the numerous screens – a hand supporting herself atop one of the chairs. ”Ask where”, she instructed them. It took only a moment before she had left the room. Right outside of the elevator, by the directional board on the second floor.[break][break]

There was nothing that he indicated any danger yet, but she had heard what happened in Tokyo. And perhaps, this was another case where people started going haywire for whatever reason, that mayhaps also involved Shadows. And if that was the case, she’d prevent him. But if anything, hopefully, it was nothing. Just a teen who got overwhelmed or hell, got lost and tried to figure his way out. Regardless, he stood there for a couple minutes – not having moved an inch until now – right as she had neared him.[break][break]

It was then her eyes widened ever so slighty as she heard those two dreaded words leaving his lips. ”How do you know about it?” She asked the teen, not wanting to specify she was talking about the Dark Hour – those words shouldn’t be heard by innocent people, after all. ”Please, follow me so we can talk about it.” Whatever the case, the two of them shouldn’t talk openly about it in the midst of a crowded mall. Turning around, she began to walk – expecting the male to follow her.[break][break]

Making her way through doors that lead to personnel-only grounds, she turned around as soon as the door closed behind the two. This, right now, was the most private place they could talk freely – going further down this hallway would only make them come across numerous employees and technical people. ”Tell me – how do you know about the Dark Hour? You weren’t involved on Port Island – we'd have met already if that were the case. So, how?” She asked as her arms crossed in front of her chest.[break][break]

Never had she expected to hear these words once again, especially not coming from a stranger’s lips – yet, here she was. Which only meant – that for him to know such a thing – that he was a Persona user like herself. And for some reason, him knowing the existence about it, outside of her former S.E.E.S. comrades, made her uncomfortable and anxious - did it exist somewhere else in Japan as well, without her knowledge?

Pen was flowing over the page of a notebook as Mitsuru was creating notes of Akihiko and Junpei, the both of them were practicing their dancing. In the background, music could be heard – to be more specific, it was blasting.[break][break]



Currently, the members of SEES were at the Velvet Club – its purpose still unknown, though their hostess by the name of Elizabeth claimed it was made to let themselves loose – to relax and enjoy themselves. But regardless, she had wanted them to dance. [break][break]



Sadly enough, Mitsuru was unfamiliar with dancing. While she had learned the basics of ballroom dancing, this was entirely different. To dance unto the beat and rhythm of the music, to move limbs freely and loosely. There was no way Mitsuru would be capable of doing such a thing – she would be terribly stiff if she had to take place on the dancefloor. And thus, she had decided to inspect the others – scribble down notes that might help her to perfect her dancing. [break][break]



But so far, it seemed to not help her – causing a distressed Mitsuru to distress deeply. [break]



”Try to determine the rhythm of the song you’re dancing on”, Mitsuru muttered to herself – sitting upon a chair as her notebook laid on the table next to her. ”How does one even do such a thing? It’s ridiculous.” [break] [break]



It was then that she spotted Minako returning from the dancefloor – someone who she had yet to approach for any tips. And so, she quickly was on her feet again – notebook in hand – as she made her way to the girl. [break] [break]



”I’m glad to see you, Minako. I'm struggling with . . understanding how to dance. Do you have any tips or notes for me?”
