"Everyone─ get out of there, now!" Fuuka's voice rang through the Fool's mind, for a moment drowning out the echoes of chains rattling against themselves. It was coming, the Reaper. Something Minako had only heard rumors of, no, not rumors, it was closer to legend. Something too powerful to exist, and much too powerful for them to handle. Even if they were all at their full strength, it was unlikely they could even dent such a being. The woman swallowed back, attempting to force her hands to calm themselves as she began waving her arms wildly, gesturing towards the hallway they had come from.

Crimson hues narrowed in the direction of her friends, barring their weapons and standing poised for their next battle. They didn't know what was coming, but she did. "You heard her, put your weapons away we have to run!" Minako's voice didn't come in a shout, but in an urgency that caused heads to turn to face her. The Empress gave a quick nod, sheathing her rapier, "You heard her, get a move on." With a quick mouthing 'thank you' to Mitsuru, she turned and began to rush back through the hallway.

Whether it was bad luck or fate attempting to crush them before they had a chance at ending the Dark Hour, the group had ventured deeper than ever this night. Minako weaved through countless hallways, the wallpaper identical in each one and making her head begin to spin on its axis. The eerie ring of the chains grew louder and louder every turn she made; her stomach beginning to churn as if its contents were desperate to escape. Don't vomit. Don't cry. They're all following you, get them out of here! The voice in her mind continued on and on, they're counting on you! They made you their leader! Why haven't you found the exit yet? Come on, Minako!

Legs moved beneath her faster than ever, pushing her through the hallway into what had to have been the entrance. They would burst through the opening, tumble down the stairs, and be free of this horrible Dark Hour. Except, it wasn't there. A room drowned in shadows surrounded the woman, hues failing to adjust to the darkness. She turned on her heels, digits reaching out in an attempt to grasp one of her friends and pull them close. Her hands found no such friend.

Droplets of sweat had begun to form at her hairline, hands trembling at her sides. How could she have lost them? Oh god... it couldn't have gotten to them, could it? Arms moved to wrap around herself as she took small steps backwards in the darkness. On the last, her shoe didn't find a ground to land on, sending the Fool tumbling backwards down a set of stairs. Whines and grunts fell from her lips with every collision her body made with the metallic stairs. Eyelids squeezed shut, her form attempting to curl in on itself until she reached the bottom stair. Lips parted, a whimper slipping from them as she allowed her eyes to open. It took a few blinks to un-blur her vision, a hand instinctively reaching to grasp the arm that had taken the most damage in the fall.

Where... was she? Crimson shifted to the stairs that had broken her balance, which weren't stairs at all, not exactly. An... escalator? One that had been turned off, which she supposed she was thankful for. Was it a new area of Tartarus she had accidentally uncovered? Wherever it was, it didn't look familiar. Hands moved to grasp the handrails, pulling herself to a standing position. The new colors were harsh on her gaze, digits raising to rub them away. Only then did she notice the gloves that covered her hands. They were bright red and lacked fingertips. "What am I...?" her voice was soft, barely above a whisper as her gaze fell to the outfit. A dark hooded robe rested over her hair and stretched past her knees, boots that almost reached her knees, a pair of pants that couldn't be considered baggy, but couldn't be considered tight, either, and a black blouse complimented with a corset to match her gloves. That's it, she must have just fallen into a JRPG.

Who said that maid cafes were only a thing in Akihabara? Ha. That would be an insult. Ever since it became a thing, cafes selling cute food brought by cosplaying waitresses started sprouting left and right- like 7-eleven- all over Japan. Surprisingly though, this kind of restaurants never lose their charm and continued to get customers despite its painful redundancy. Ageha could most certainly vouched for that. [break][break]
Dressed in puffy pink dressed ornamented with frills, ruffles and ribbons, the girl stood along the wooden counters with her back slightly pressed against its wooden surface. Her eyes were fixed on the cafe's interior: splashed with soft shades of pink and blue, and decorated with adorable furniture one would only see in old French movies. Sugar Kiss Cafe wasn't the only maid cafe around in Shinagawa, but it was the only one to boast a very legit vintage patisserie vibe. Not that she was bragging, but the rest of the maid cafes around were half-heartedly done at best, some just had to have mismatching mash-ups of eastern and western decours. Now, who would find that cute? [break][break]
A shallow sigh escaped her pink-tinted lips as she tilted her head, a hand running through her curled twintails. It wasn't exactly how she planned to spend her sunday, but she just couldn't say no when a friend asked her to help out in their business. She let out a soft grunt. Really, she didn't know this was what needed help, but then it wasn't as bad as it sounded or looked. It was actually kind of fun, if she had to say, even if the job was a bit demanding. It wasn't as if she had problems acting all cute and cheerful-- she needed to release that kawaii loli brewing deep inside her anyway. Plus, she'd be getting extra money so listening to people complaining or geeking out and the diabetes-inducing cuteness would be all worth it at the end of the day. [break][break]

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS We at REBIRTH consider activity to be one of the key components to keeping the group a fun and consistent environment for everyone involved in it. There will be two different types of ‘event’ threads going on, required and optional─ required threads will offer a 7 day limit, optional will have a 14 day limit. As of right now there will be no requirement for personal threads, though we do highly encourage them! If there is any reason you cannot have a reply ready by your due date, please just let one of the admins know and reasonable accommodation will be made. MATURE CONTENT The Persona franchise is no stranger to dark themes. All of those themes are welcome within this RPG, gun violence, blood, death, and many more triggering subjects may be mentioned on this forum. If any of this content is an issue, we offer a warning for anyone browsing further into our content. This being said, there is no age restriction for auditioning to be a part of the group. SETTLING DISPUTES & DRAMA Our #1 priority within this RPG is for our members to have a fun, safe environment to write their favorite characters in. Any drama will not be tolerated and will be stopped at the very first sign of it. If there are any disputes that need to be settled, problems that have arisen please immediately contact either Vixxey or Skoll. APPLICATIONS As of right now Original Characters are not being accepted, though this rule is subject to change.
